A Visitor Friendly Church

What people are saying:
Everyone is down to earth here. It’s a church where the people are real.

The nursery workers were great! I felt totally comfortable dropping my kids off at children’s ministry.

There is a small town feel to the church. It’s very welcoming and non-threatening.

Calvary Chapel Windsor

…we want you to feel at home here.

Come dressed comfortably, you will fit right in. You can expect to be welcomed at the door, and greeted by people in the church during service.

And if you forget your Bible, don’t worry – we have one you can use, and you can even take it home with you.

Children’s classes are held in Unit B, right next door to the sanctuary. The nursery is large and up in front. For kiddos age 4 through 5th grade, classes are upstairs. All the teachers are trained and have a Biblical curriculum so your child can get a great foundation in the word of God, and in the love of Christ.

We asked some of our favorite coffee shops where they got their beans, and we now are happily serving Villa Rey coffee, freshly ground and brewed for you just before service. Hot chocolate and a variety of tea is also available. Oh, and feel free to grab a donut before service starts!

The Welcome Center has free copies of More than a Carpenter, and you can pick up other books and materials there for a suggested donation.

Our worship music is “amazing, beautiful, and spirit filled.” At least, that’s how our worship leader described it. The music portion of our service is designed to make people feel comfortable singing along. Contemporary songs are mixed with hymns and older choruses.

The messages are expository. Pastor Scott makes his way through a book of the Bible from beginning to end, reading a verse, then giving the meaning and application as he goes. On Sunday mornings, teaching will typically be from a book of the New Testament. On Wednesday nights we are studying “Through the Bible,” in order from Genesis to Revelation.

We don’t pass the plate here. There are offering boxes in the entryway where you can give as you are moved to do so. Giving should be done as an act of worship, never as pressured by man.

Our sermons are broadcast on 89.7 GraceFM, at 5:45 a.m. weekdays, and at 1:00 p.m. on Sundays. No, they’re not live! They are recorded at our weekly services.

All of the sermons are available for free on our website. This can be a great way to check out the teaching style of the church, or get insight on certain Bible passages.

Whether Calvary becomes your church home or not, you are invited to check out our Bible studies during the week. Ladies meet on Thursday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m.  The men meet on Saturdays; come early for prayer from 6:30 – 8:00 a.m., or join in the discussion at Men’s Discipleship at 8:30 a.m.

No matter what your background is, or where you are at in your pursuit of God, you will be welcomed here. We all fall short of God’s standard of righteousness, but we are all sincerely wanting to grow in our relationship with Him.
