Chris was raised as a Roman Catholic in Northern New Jersey, where he lived with his parents. At the age of 22, Chris gave his heart to Jesus Christ. The first person that Chris led to Christ was his future wife, Marion — whom he married only one month later.
Chris and Marion have been married for 43+ years and have 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
Chris’ spiritual journey began in Oregon where he was discipled under Pastor Jon Courson at Applegate Christian Fellowship for 5 years before relocating back to NJ. There he joined Pastor Lloyd Pulley at Calvary Chapel of Old Bridge and spent 6 years serving in many capacities; in youth ministry, home fellowships and on the church board of directors.
In 1992, the Lord called Chris and Marion to move to Toms River, NJ where there was no Calvary Chapel church. After teaching Bible studies for several years, the Lord directed the small bible study group to start a church. Thus, Cornerstone Calvary Chapel was born, settling in Howell, NJ in 2001.
A pastor-teacher as well as an evangelist at heart, Chris has been involved in many national and international outreach efforts. He was a first responder at 9/11 in NYC, he served in New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and also with many other disaster relief efforts. Chris has overseen missions in India, Ireland, Europe, Canada, Mexico, Haiti, Brazil, Peru and El Salvador.
In 2020, Pastor Chris stepped aside at Cornerstone and began serving with Poimen Ministries.
Steve grew up in the Denver area with his family. He graduated from Englewood high school in 1998, and had no doubt he was going to be a firefighter, as he came from a long line of public servants (police and fire). However, that was not exactly the path God had for him. He met his wife Angela in late 2000, who introduced him to Jesus. He was very reluctant to accept God at the time. In 2003, Steve and Angela were married, just before he enlisted in the Navy. Little did Steve know that the Navy was where Jesus was ready and waiting for him! Steve came out of the military a different person. He was still confused about who and what God was, but he was on fire for the Lord.
Steve became a contractor after leaving the military and has continued in that line of work for almost 20 years. During that time, he discovered how God wanted him to serve others. Steve began serving at church, especially on the worship and sound-tech teams. He also became a volunteer firefighter. Steve found serving the community to be a rewarding way to not only help others, but also to speak truth. Steve never had any ambition to sing or play an instrument at church, because the music was pointless to him. He just wanted to "get to the message where the good stuff was." But God lovingly shook the stubbornness out of Steve and gave him an unbelievable desire to play the guitar and drums. After a few years, worship and music became a passion for Steve, and he developed a renewed sense of who Jesus is. Steve served as worship leader at Restored Church, a church plant in Windsor, before coming to Calvary.

Zach grew up in Brighton, Colorado with his parents and two younger brothers. From his early years, Zach was interested in music, movies and the arts. He has always been an extrovert and loved being around people.

Zach earned an Associates of Applied Science in Radio Production and Programming from Aims Community College in 2017. April was born in Maryland, and moved around most of her childhood life. She ended up graduating High School in a small town in New Mexico, where she would meet the love of her life. April and Brandon ended up reconnecting many years after that, and instantly knew something was different. During that time Brandon was a growing Christian, and April started learning who Jesus really was. She accepted God’s gift of grace, and soon after they were married. They have been blessed with five beautiful children (4 boys & 1 girl). April is a full-time homeschool mom. Together she and Brandon have a big heart for Children's Ministry.
Brandon was born in New Mexico, and graduated from the same small town High School that April did. He was saved at a Fellowship of Christian Athletes event in High School. It was here that Brandon began to know Jesus, and grew through reading, praying, and sharing the Word of God. Brandon graduated from Colorado School of Mines, and for a few years he did not stay on the straight and narrow path. Brandon studied many religions during this time, but on his first mission trip, he rededicated his life to serving God. The Lord rushed back into Brandon's life to show how truly cherished we all are. Brandon now works for a manufacturing company, and has several side businesses. Lori grew up in a Los Angeles suburb in Southern California. While she and her family claimed to be Christians, they rarely attended church and never clearly heard the gospel message of salvation. During high school Lori was invited to attend a Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) fellowship at a peer’s home. She was impacted by the young adult leader’s love, and dedication to Christ and the youth. It was then she learned the true gospel, and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. By invitation of the Cru leaders, Lori began attending Calvary Chapel (West Covina).
Lori earned her Associate of Arts Degree at Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, CA. She went on to work secretarial jobs and attended Calvary Chapel Bible College. During her attendance at Bible College, she was called by the Lord to live in Israel for a short time. Living there brought a new understanding and life to the Word of God. It was also there that Lori grew into an even deeper relationship with Jesus, trusting that He is her sole provider. After returning home to California, Lori met her husband, Tony, while serving at Calvary Chapel Mexico Orphanage Outreach Ministry. They were married in 1990 and have raised five children.

Bob grew up right here in Windsor, Colorado with his parents, two brothers and a sister. Bob joined the US Navy right out of high school. He made it a career, and retired after 22 years of service. Bob then went on to work in the public sector, primarily as a quality control analyst and instructor. He has a BS in Work Education Development from Southern Illinois University, and a MA in Christian Studies with a focus on Leadership from Grand Canyon University.
Bob grew up in the church, and while knowing the gospel at early age, he didn’t really take it seriously. A visit to the mailbox in February, 2002 helped to change his Christian walk: he received an invitation to attend a new church in Folsom, CA. Bob went that Sunday, and after several months of attendance, rededicated his life to Jesus. It was here that Bob met his wife Joymay at the church’s singles group. They married in April 2004, and during the next several years led a Bible study in their home. At the end of 2010 Bob and Joymay moved to Windsor, Bob’s boyhood home. In January 2011 they met Scott and his board members while having breakfast at the Egg and I. They attended Calvary Chapel that Sunday and have been active in the church ever since.

Brian was raised in LaPorte and Fort Collins, graduating from Rocky Mountain High School in 1978. After one year at C.S.U. he joined the Navy and served for nearly 9 years in the Submarine Service. After the Navy he used his Navy Nuclear Engineering background to work in a variety of challenging engineering and technical fields. Brian went to church while growing up, but did not clearly understand what Salvation really meant, nor the need to pursue a meaningful relationship with Jesus. Brian lived on the “wild side” until his mid-thirties, and during a low point in his life, he surrendered to the Lord, and accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior after watching a Billy Graham Crusade.
Brian met his wife Danielle at a church they attended in Loveland, and were married in August of 2002. They were active together in Cowboy Church and Motorcycle Ministries, and Brian also followed his passion for Men’s Ministries, and has led Bible Studies in Sterling Prison and Weld County Jail for a number of years, as well as leading a Men’s Bible Study at CCW. Brian and Danielle have been part of the Calvary Chapel Windsor family since January of 2018, and 3 months later, Brian began serving as the church Admin Assistant.
