Marriage

Marriage Night Out is a ministry devoted to developing times of fellowship and growth for marriages. We meet once a month at the church on the first Saturday of every month at 6:30 p.m. On the occasion that we do not meet at the church, we will give ample notice. The overall goal of Marriage Night Out is to give married couples a date night to play games, have fun, meet like-minded couples, and learn a small devotional geared toward marriage straight from the Bible. Events planned may include prizes and, on occasion, a special meal or potluck.

Marriage Night Out is free, and childcare is also available at no cost.

The vision behind Marriage Night Out is to create a shift in culture where marriage succeeds by building Godly homes. It is necessary to make Jesus Christ the foundation of the relationship where two people become one in covenant with God, totally naked and unashamed physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

Chris and Tiffany Nelson have been married for 19 years and are a prior military family. Going through many struggles in life and overcoming them with victory through God has given them a passion to serve other married couples. They have been serving within a ministry context for several years and have attended many enrichment retreats and classes surrounding marriage. Their heart is to help couples discover their purpose and live out that purpose in their communities as a way to show the love of God in their lives and to reach the lives of others around them.
