Shortly after becoming a Christian, I joined a men’s Bible study where I discovered a deep love for God’s Word and a strong desire to grow in fellowship with other believers. As time went on, others began to recognize God’s calling on my life to serve as a pastor and encouraged me to pursue ministry. God graciously confirmed that calling through the pages of Scripture during my daily Bible reading.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Calvary Chapel Bible College and began working toward a Master of Divinity. That seminary path is currently paused as I wait on the Lord’s peace and timing to resume.
My heart is to serve God’s church by teaching the Bible verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter. I believe in the absolute authority and sufficiency of Scripture, and I desire to see God glorified in the church through sound doctrine and faithful shepherding. My philosophy of ministry has been shaped by works like On Being a Pastor by Alistair Begg and Living Water by Chuck Smith.
I’m married to my beautiful and incredibly supportive wife, Alyssa. We have two (soon to be three!) fun and loving kids. When I’m not at church or in study, I love spending time with my family, playing games, lifting weights, and enjoying a good hike or outdoor walk.
